Monday - always a challenging day - today there were errands because we were gone all weekend. Errands before work make me feel pretty good - like I am up and out there and gettin' things done.
Then I get tired, and realize I haven't even begun my work day.
Work was work - what can I say? My new clerk started, so lots of talking from me - and lots of staring from her - I never know if people don't understand me or if I'm just captivating or... maybe just funny looking.
I did notice that bed head is back though my hair is so short it really does seem unfair. My sprig is back already! See below for what it looks like when it's long. It was like that only - short - and more spikey.
| Dec 2010 - the sprig |
| I think my sister took this and sent it to me - it's probably at Butchart Gardens |
The Next Big Thing - haven't touched my list - I will make some sort of progress on this tomorrow....right after I renew my license. I managed to forget it expired on my birthday. Then they weren't open today - so tomorrow it's off to the DMV or MVD as they call it here. bleh.
Fears and Anxieties - well, I've not been challenging myself, so there hasn't been too much going on it my crazy-brain.
Random Photo of the Day: ugh. It took alot to not cheat and choose something more... interesting.
This seems like a good time to let people know that the girl's blog reached its 300th day! HOLY CRAP! 300 EFFING days in a row that kid has been doing entries. WOW. That's more than impressive.
From Day One's word "Parachute" http://lovetheinkdrop.blogspot.com/2010/12/day-one.html
"I’ve decided to change the terms of this project...
To establish some sort of overall theme for this expedition; a sturdy frame with which to bring all of the different ideas together, I bought a dictionary."
To Day Three Hundred's word "all right" http://lovetheinkdrop.blogspot.com/2011/10/day-three-hundred.html
"Sixty five days left of this blog.
It's almost depressing.
Yet exciting.
Like looking forward to vacation."
She's grown so much in her artwork - but above her drawing - I love her writing and hope one day to be as confident and creative as she is. For reals.Tonight I made little extra vanilla-y cupcakes with lemony glaze. They were delish. And my intent was to take a picture but they were gobbled up soooooo quickly. and then I forgot.
Here's a picture of my suffering instead. That's a burnt finger. I like to do that at least once every meal / dessert I cook. My hands are all scarred. Weep for me.
