A simple thing which often escapes me. I can see how these little somewhat insignificant projects have already brought something rich to my life. Life to my life. My view had grown narrow, my activities more so -- I feel less pinched. Less stress, though I am certainly more busy.
Today T and I spent a few hours in the park.
We watched the branches and the squirrels as they gathered, disassembled, and dropped particles of the fruit (?) of the ginkos trees upon.
After a squirrel dropped a complete fruit almost on our head, T shoved it in my face - - it smelled lemony.
(stop looking there are no squirrels in the photos)
It was nice to linger in the fresh air, pressed to the earth, listening to T strum the guitar and just being.
Unfortunately, at some point we had to return to the world of errands and chores.
Dad Report: Dad relayed that he had gotten out -- been taken to the house by his wife, and given dinner. This he enjoys perhaps more than anything. He went through the fact again that he had been told that he would be going on a picnic on Friday but that it hadn't come to pass, and then ran through a litany of all the reasons this might be - it was quite clear he was very disappointed he didn't get to go; but as is his habit - he finds more excuses for others' behaviors than they would do themselves. Forever excusing, forgiving, reasoning why people have behaved how they have. I let him talk, he seemed to need the sounding board today -- I don't think a lot of people listen to him -- so I try to.

This clearly shows why I am not the photographer for this project. It also makes it clear that I either need to use my other camera -- or use the actual photos to advertise them. Anyway - a preview none-the-less:

Back of the 5 x 7 flats

Still waiting for the vertical folded 5 x 7's -

I spoke with my sister briefly - she sounds excited - I love that. I can't wait for her to hold the products in her hand.
I think maybe I will go public with this... this blog; as Casey-face says "get un-scared!"
