A good day

Oh yeah.  This is the way to start your day.  I can say that upon reflection I probably should have left them on the counter rather than putting them in the fridge. They were still unbelievably yummy.

I felt better today - a still a little off - but not rotten. Took myself to work, and before I walked through the doors - I veered right into Raven Books. (I should have taken a picture) -Here's one from the internet.

I spoke with Heidi, and made an appt. to see her tomorrow and look at the cards for possible sale at Raven.  I had steeled myself not to be nervous, but after I left noticed my heart was beating pretty fast.  She's nice and we know each other from my repeated visits for cards and books.  It will be a good first time meeting.

I was more productive at work than I thought I would be - that's always nice.

Got a text which I didn't understand at first, it said "we are in bizbaz."  This was shorthand for we got into the Bizarre Bazaar; the girl and I. YAY US!  For those of you not from here - that's a big arts/crafts fair in late November. The idea is to sell stuff out of the ordinary -- though it's gotten away from that a bit I think in recent years.

Dad report: Dad seemed cheery this morning, I think he is affected by the weather even though he's not in it much.  I notice he seems brighter on sunny days. He went to a music program at St. Mary's yesterday, his ability to describe it was limited but he mentioned that it did break up the routine.   He got talking about the food again - and we had kinda a long talk about why the food is the way it is; he resigned that he's "at the mercy of a system much larger than himself which is not to his benefit" or something along those lines.  This is indeed accurate. In part.  He followed it up with the fact that he would benefit from more exercise.  I will call the O.T. dept. again tomorrow and see if I can get them to work with Dad individually a couple of times a week.  It's difficult as last time the nurse said they couldn't tell me even what he had been doing... but it did seem to help last time I called so that's something.  Dad seemed happy I would try anyway.

This is rather text heavy I note.  Hang in there!

Random Pic of the Day:

February 2008

Yep that's the VHM and his Dad.  We are in California for the Yoga Nationals that the girl was in.

The next big thing:
Print recycle labels [I will need more for the reprinted card]

Print more labels for sets  [seriously math impaired]
Stop in at Raven and if Heidi is there ask about setting appt. to review cards
Do pricing sheet for retail stores [still working on this, again my math suffers]
Dig out Z picture and scan (the next card)
Get permission to use drawing from Z
Set up Etsy Store
Work on logo, and “tag line”
Work on bio
Take better pictures of product
Get well
WRITE.

Fears & Anxieties: Failure or Success at tomorrow's meeting.  Biting off more than I can chew.  Becoming so unhappy with my current job because I can see how it could be different.

Yah, the VHM is really being exceptionally sweet -- he got me some "adult" presents today! Mebee he's a little excited too... and the flowers smell TERRIFIC!
