A Promise is a Promise

Right? and so here we are TWO entries in the same day.

So today I got a good start but than kinda petered out.

I didn't help that I was holey distracted this morning by my very handsome man (VHM).

May 2006
October 2010

Yesterday we celebrated our 7th anniversary... thas a loooong time.  So now we commence our 8th year together - - what fun!

Label all sets of cards [I made a serious mathematical error, so I have more to print.  But I did apply the ones I had, 1/5 of the actual total]
Re-order tree card
Buy re-cycled labels and put on appropriate cards [this apparently is not available commercially in my area - I'm gonna try to print some of my own tomorrow]
Buy Laminating supplies [crap. forgot this one altogether]
Grocery Shopping
Stop in at Raven and if Heidi is there ask about setting appt. to review cards
Do pricing sheet for retail stores
Dig out Z picture and scan (the next card)
Package up Mickeys' stuff and send
Organize and log "extras" [Log schmog, I'm just gonna wing it with them]

Dad Report: He was really happy to hear from me today - possibly because he's not had his usual weekend visit from his wife -- possibly because he might not remember he just talked to me yesterday; hard to tell.

Because he doesn't remember what I've just said a lot of the time - I get to come up with creative ways to say the same thing.  So, like today, he kept asking me what I thought I would do today -- and so I said the same list of things but in different ways each time.  Sometimes I think maybe he's just waiting until I come up with a more interesting answer.   He was back to the weather a bit today too -- we talked some about the big snows from our childhoods -- he often thinks of me as his peer and is surprised when I remind him I wasn't around when he was a kid.

I had the hiccups when I was on the phone with him - it made it significantly more difficult for him to understand me.  He's got enough hiccups in his brain, I guess.

Random Picture of the Day:

December 6, 2006 - my VHM's borrowed my camera for this shot of, I believe, the Midland Theater in KC, prior to renovation

The next big thing:

Print recycled labels
Print additional labels for sets of cards
Stop in at Raven and if Heidi is there ask about setting appt. to review cards
Do pricing sheet for retail stores
Dig out Z picture and scan (the next card)
Get permission to use drawing from Z
Set up Etsy Store
Work on logo, and “tag line”
Work on bio
Take better pictures of product

Fears & Anxieties (new feature!):

2 interviews tomorrow for the clerk job, I am sure they are nervous, but I am ready to puke just thinking about having to talk to new people
