This is my seester.

This is also my seester.
(that's me on the right)
My seester (yes I know it's spelled sister), is a great photographer - has a natural eye for those perfect shots...perfect shots for greeting cards. How I know this is that I have a card thing - a habit or an - addiction if you prefer. I have bought cards as long as I have had my own income. I know a good card when I see it - and seemingly every photo my sister takes is "the perfect greeting card" photo. I swear. Wait, you'll see soon enough.
So after years of begging, cajoling, yelling, and trying (with no success) to get my sister to make cards from her photos - - I have started a project. [truth be told there's a bunch of ideas I have for cards and this is an easy way to get started without putting my own creativity out there, just yet; yes, that's right - I am using my sister as a foil.]
Taterpickle Papers has been unofficially launched with our first artist Pic*Mic Designs (the first order of cards is already being prepared for shipping!). I am truly sick with anxiety. But I know this must happen - it is my present to my sister. And I spose a present to myself. I am excited to share her view of the world with the world. It's so pretty.
Dad reports via my other sister - um, well this photo was about 15 years ago... but any way... Dad told her that I have reported that we have had 200 degree temps here all summer. Wow Dad. Way to exaggerate. My sister being a smarty-pants said something to the effect of "well, I don't think they have been THAT high" and Dad replied - "well they still use Fahrenheit down there you know..."
Yep. We do.
Yikers my battery is dying. I am lazy. It's late. I guess I am done for the night.
Making progress. More writing must be done. Poems, and all that rot. Tomorrow.

:) xxoo
